Medial brachial cutaneous nerve (Medial cutaneous nerve of arm)
Nervus cutaneus brachii medialis
- Origin
- Arises from the medial cord of the brachial plexus (C8–T1)
- Insertion
- Crosses the axillary vein, communicates with the intercostobrachial nerve (T2), and supplies the medial skin of the arm
- Function
- Pure sensory innervation to the skin of the medial aspect of the distal arm and axillary floor
- Innervation
- Pure sensory nerve (C8–T1)

- Subcutaneous course along the inner aspect of the arm
- Palpation
- Sensory testing over the medial arm surface
- Clinical
- Post-mastectomy pain syndrome / numbness following axillary lymph node dissection due to nerve sacrifice or stretch
