- How to find it
- Find the navicular tuberosity and move a centimetre proximally. Alternate the foot between pronation and supination: in pronation that part of the bone bulges medially, in supination it withdraws.
- What you use it for
- The classic way to determine hindfoot position: subtalar neutral is where the head protrudes equally on the medial and lateral sides.
