- Originate from the infrapatellar and meniscal venous arcades
- Insertion
- Travel along the joint line to empty into the distal popliteal vein
- Function
- Provide deep venous drainage for the proximal tibia, menisci, and infrapatellar fat pad
- Innervation
- Sympathetic vasomotor fibers

- Pass deep to collateral ligaments

- Contribute to clearing intra-articular inflammatory fluid post-injury
