- How to find it
- Run your thumb across the back of the distal radius from radial to ulnar. About a third of the way across you meet a small hard bump: that is it.
- What you use it for
- The fixed landmark of the wrist. The extensor pollicis longus tendon turns around it as around a pulley, and the scapholunate joint lies directly distal to it.
