- How to find it
- Run your finger down the midline of the back of the head until you meet a bump, where the skull turns into the neck. From it the superior nuchal line runs off to both sides.
- What you use it for
- Attachment of trapezius and the nuchal ligament. Tenderness along the nuchal line belongs to cervicogenic headache and to tension in the neck muscles.
