- On the ulnar side of the palm, at the base of the hypothenar; the loose pea-shaped bone in the tendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris.

- Entrance to Guyon's canal, through which the ulnar nerve runs; and the attachment you look for to follow the flexor carpi ulnaris.
