Olecranon

How to find it: The tip of the elbow, on the dorsal side. In extension it slides into a hollow in the humerus and the space beside it disappears.
What you use it for: Olecranon bursitis is directly visible and palpable here; the triangle with both epicondyles changes in a dislocation and stays intact in a supracondylar fracture.
