Lateral epicondyle of the humerus

Epicondylus lateralis humeri

How to find it

On the lateral side of the elbow at 90 degrees of flexion; the bump just proximal to the joint line. Extend the wrist against resistance and the muscles underneath tighten.

What you use it for

Attachment of the wrist extensors, so the tender point in lateral epicondylitis. With the medial epicondyle and the olecranon it forms an isosceles triangle at 90 degrees of flexion.
