Knee
Lateral femoral condyle
Condylus lateralis femoris
- How to find it
- Flex the knee to about 90 degrees. Place your finger lateral to the patellar ligament in the joint line and follow the rim of the condyle proximally. The part right beside the patella cannot be reached.
- What you use it for
- In a normally aligned leg it carries about forty per cent of the load. In a valgus knee that rises, and that is where the osteoarthritis appears.
- On the bone
